I normally get up the stairs ok, its coming down that i struggle with. At the ministry the Cardio machines are upstairs and after my High intensity Training i have had a few near death experiences trying to get my carcuss down again.

Everyone IMO should undertake a strict BBing diet (one that I prescribe) to make them realise how very lucky they are. I go to a few dark places when I diet but when I think of the results and potentially winning and holding the trophy, that makes me strong. In my prep for the British, every morning for the last 6 weeks I shut my eyes for a minute of so and invisaged my self standing on stage with the crowd chanting my name and me holding the trophy above my head. It actually used to send shivers down my spine it was so real.
I also visualised my competitors training and dieting harder then me to give me even more mental strength.
Visualisation is a huge part of success in anything but especially in competitive sport and bbing.
Try it

I actually did that for both the 2008 EPF and NAC over 50's Brit champs because at times( even though ive done around 35 shows) my body was screaming for me to give up. Like James said I was sometimes in a dark place, i didnt want to talk to anyone, mainly because communication takes concentration and energy and I had little to spare of each. I Don't know if this was an age thing but I can honestly say I took my body and mind to a place I had never been before and it wasn't nice. The visualisation kept me sane and enabled me to focus on the reason I was doing this!

Cutting and dark places. Is somewere i have been alot in the last 2-3 weeks of this years first cut ,after talking to James about show prep CV was one of things i had to sort out going from 30mins to 2x40 mins PD. This hit me hard, but in that dark place it punched me how hard i should be doing things.
Moorey i was at the EPF 08 ,me and one other in the under 85kg. Are you back again this year? thinking back now you stood out in top marks ,i hope i can look as good as you when i am 45 .

Hi guys, Greekgoddess here from Uk muscle. Just followed a link and found this site and joined up.
What do I hate most about cutting? Watching Bob Dawson relish a steak, greek salad, feta cheese and walnut cake with cream the other night while I am on zero carbs. He is taking me through the last six weeks of my contest prep and is here in Corfu on holiday for the first two weeks of it keeping a beady eye on me.
But I look incredible following his advice and he is a great guy....so I forgive him!
